About
COPING CADENCES
(2025)
Coping Cadences is envisioned as a concerto grosso that merges traditional and contemporary elements, exploring a wide range of different styles. The work will feature 6 soloists with a length of 20 minutes and composed of multiple movements in both orchestra and concert band versions. Drawing inspiration from Baroque concerti, the soloist parts will have multiple options for different instruments, providing flexibility to feature faculty soloists or principal players from within the orchestra.
